Prepare for Tomorrow’s Emergencies, Today.

The Everyday Responder Project (ERP) is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on promoting access to bystander medical training and boosting bystander confidence in providing simple, yet critical aspects of emergency medical care while awaiting EMS. We work to create and teach educational materials specifically tailored to the non-medical demographic, aiming to develop sustainable education programs in schools throughout Southern California and beyond.

What We Do

ERP emphasizes a holistic approach to medical education, uniting a wide variety of healthcare, educational, and creative professionals to work collaboratively in preparing everyday people for medical emergencies.

Our Impact

Confident in Providing Care

Following our first aid lessons, nearly all surveyed students reported feeling comfortable performing CPR and controlling major bleeding in emergency situations. Performance on a skills competency assessment also greatly improved post-lesson.

Community Members Taught

ERP has provided cost-free bystander first aid lessons to populations from all across Los Angeles, actively participating in community events and hosting a multitude of lessons for students of all ages.

Stop the Bleed® Certified

Our Stop the Bleed® (STB) instructors have provided free bleed control certification lessons to several students, complete with live demos and hands-on practice with skills like wound packing and tourniquet application.
